I welcome you warmly on the homepage of Waste Treatment Project of Homokhátság Regional Settlements, leaded by City of Csongrád. The 12 billion Ft investment - 75% from EU subsidies - affecting 3 counties - Baranya, Bács-Kiskun and Csongrád -, 82 settlements and 345 thousand citizens, makes the residents not have to suffer more the disordered state of the repositories, the unpleasant odors and the contamination infiltrating to the soil due to the new, environmental friendly and modern waste treatment system. The environment and health damaging repositories cease to exist, many of them operating currently illegal. Thank to the project we establish the conditions of selective waste disposal for the people in the surroundings. The direct environment of the residents becomes healthier, livable and more attractive.
